How irresponsible can your team be? Your job has been late for more than 2 years. Below is an email from the AAA concerning this issue but no further update has been given as stated.

If anybody has informtion on who the members of the 2007 team are, please post them here.

10 July 2009

Dear batch mates,

WE, THE EDITORIAL BOARD OF THE 2007 ATENEO AEGIS, ARE VERY SORRY. We would like to apologize dearly for (1) the delay in the release of the yearbook, and (2) for not updating the batch about its status. There is no excuse for both, and as such we would like to ask for your forgiveness.

WE ARE STILL WORKING ON THE YEARBOOK. Although we let you down on our promise to deliver the yearbook immediately after graduation, rest assured that we fully intend to finish it. We will certainly not abandon it until it's done.

The Editorial Board is currently in the process of drawing up a detailed status report on the yearbook. In the meantime, we would like to inform you of the following: The volumes for the School of Humanities and the John Gokongwei School of Management are ready for printing. The volume for the School of Science and Engineering is almost ready. We just have to reorganize the pages, enhance the introductory pages, and color-correct. We are about to enter the final stages of proofreading the volume for the School of Social Sciences. We estimate that this process will take two weeks. Its introductory pages are already being enhanced. Color correction will proceed soon after. Since we are currently focusing our energies on finishing the volumes mentioned above, the update for the fifth volume will be released together with the detailed status report adverted to above. However, someone is already working on its colored pages to ensure that it is not left far behind.

WE ARE WORKING ON IMPROVING OUR INFORMATION DISSEMINATION SYSTEM. Aside from sending regular updates through official channels like the Office of University Development and Alumni Relations, the Office of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and the Ateneo Alumni Association, we plan to revive the mailing list and the LiveJournal site that we created before for this purpose. We are also exploring alternative avenues (i.e. Facebook).

From this point on, we commit ourselves to keeping you abreast of our progress. YOUR MONEY IS SAFE AND INTACT. Your money is safe. One of the major changes we introduced when we took over the organization in 2007 was to establish a system that will minimize (if not completely eliminate) the intervention of AEgis members in matters pertaining to money. As such, we required that all payments be coursed through the Cashier's Office of the University. This was done to protect you, ourselves, and the University. Your money is intact. The yearbook fee you paid during registration/enrollment was deposited in a debit-credit account maintained by the Central Accounting Office of the University. It is a "deposits only" account. Withdrawals are not allowed. Money deposited in it will only be released once the yearbook is out. This transaction will be a direct one between the University and the printer.

MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES TO COME. The status report (with announcements) will be out on Monday, July 13. The release date of an announcement/update will appear in the announcement/update immediately preceding it.

WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOUR PATIENCE. To those of you who have expressed their continued support, thank you! To those whose support we lost due to our own fault, we will do everything in our power to win it back, and this includes producing a yearbook that we can all be proud of!

Sincerely,

The Editorial Board
