sinong mas ok gealogo or garilao for histo 165? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) i dunno about gealogo... here's something i found, from http://comtechniques.wordpress.com/2008/09...karina-garilao/ Garilao Subject: History 165- Rizal and the Emergence of the Philippine Nation General Advice: Rizal History can be boring but Ms. Garilao can make it sound interesting. She has this weird sense of humor that can either make you laugh or think. She likes giving group works and only gives high marks when you deserve it. She appreciates and encourages class participation as she will always ask for insights after each class. She gives surprise short quizzes to make sure you have read. Just do well in group works and listen to her lectures and you will get a good grade. Teaching Style: She uses powerpoints and gives good notes. Requirements Level: Moderate (just full of groupwork) Study Habits:In history subjects, you really have to read but if you listen tediously and take down notes, that’s all you need to pass her long tests. A-able Factor (1-Easiest, 5- Hardest): 3 This post has been edited by elizahwood: Nov 1 2008, 06:46 PM |

Also, who can you recommend for Filipino 14? Thanks! |

David for Ma 11... super boring but practically no workload... if you just do the problems he'll assign (but doesn't collect) you're super okay na. His long tests are super easy when compared to other classes but you'll feel like you lag behind during the departmental exams... He's easy but very weird. Fil 14?? Can you choose your classes now? The Fil dept has always automatically assigned teachers. |

PSY 101: get sagmit if you want a funny class. pero near impossible maka A.
Hi18: Tirol De Jesus Manaois -manawis ka na lang. Tirol is very demanding while for de jesus, sasali ka pa ng battle of bel field thing, hassle yun HI165: Rizal and the Emergence of the Philippine Nations. Ocambo, Ambeth R. Habana, Olivia Anne M. Lozada, David III O. Manaois, Neville Jay C. Totanes, Stephen Henry S. -Lozada would be the best. Totanes you can get easy B without studying much BUT YOU MUST LOVE YOUR COUNTRY OR ELSE YOU FAIL. I'm not kidding. -Or if don't get a good random number (una nauubos si Lozada), manaois is next EC111: Intermediate Microeconomics Theory. Dacuycuy, Connie B. Biagtan, Gervy James P. Alinsunurin, Jason P. -DACUYCUY!!!!!!! If I tell you why, it would spoil the surprise! |

Raneses, Rene Raymond, Jr. R. I recommend Dr. Olivia Habana for Hi165. She's really good and she's not your usual political historian. She's a socio-cultural one so you will have a view of History from a different angle. Her longtests are usually true or false and an essay. You do not really have to memorize and if you study, you'll get good grades. She makes history really fun. For POS100, I hear that RR Raneses is good.
